What a gem! My husband and I came here for a late lunch. Our server was courteous and patient. We ordered ravioli, beef for me and spicy sausage for him. We also shared the fried zucchini and the Cabernet Sauvignon. The food is very tasty and portions are generous. The wine went very well with my beef ravioli. The restaurant itself is in a small plaza. It was really cold that day but I can see us going there next time to enjoy eating outside.

I've been wanting to try this place for some time and for sure it's a little hidden gem in a location you wouldn't think a restaurant would be. I'm glad we decided to drive from Lodi to check it out. It was so worth the drive because it was delicious, authentic, and served great portions. I had enough leftover for an entire second meal. The only reason it didn't get a 5star was bcz I didn't get the ala carte meatball and oil/vinegar with the to go order. I'll be back for the chicken parm!

Today was the second time we have been to Pastosa and as before it was INCREDIBLE! My hubby ordered the beef ravioli with creamy pesto sauce and he said it was definitely 5s. I ordered the lasagna and let me tell you, it is the freshest, most delicious meat lasagna you will ever taste. It's like you can taste each individual fresh ingredient and it melds together in a beautiful way. The dinner came with focaccia bread which was delicious (you can ask for more) and a small house salad. The location is hidden, so it's not in a hot local area, but don't let that discourage you. They also offer seating outside on a small patio when it's warmer.

Food was wonderful. All items made it house. Fried zucchini appetizer was delicious.

I've been to Pastosa by Lucia many times now, mostly for take out and it's one of our favorite spots for Italian food. I love that they offer different pastas a ravioli options with your choice of sauce. This makes it so much fun to mix and match and easy for the whole family to order a dish that they'll love. They also offer frozen/refrigerated items that you can prepare at home and this is a great way to have fresh pasta throughout the week or for a quick meal when you don't want to make everything from scratch. They offer indoor and outdoor seating if you're dining in and the staff is so friendly. The family behind the business has some amazing recipes and truly cares about the customer experience. Some of my favorites are the ravioli options, I love the bacon cheeseburger ravioli, cheese ravioli, and I'll never pass up on the Butternut Squash Ravioli- especially paired with their brown butter sage sauce! They also have a great salad and focaccia bread that comes with the meals. It's the perfect pairing with all of their dishes. While I typically order the pasta and ravioli, don't sleep on their specials like tortellini, lasagna, and really any special they offer. The desserts are also worth trying. Pastosa by Lucia is a spot that I recommend to anyone craving Italian food and I'm even planning a drive to Galt before my in-laws come for a visit to stock up on pasta to share with them while they're here.

Spicy sausage ravioli and the pink sauce is the best combination. They're both spicy so you get an extra kick for a flavorful time. I like that most things are self serve so I don't have to worry about bothering anyone and they can work on the food instead. If you really like the food, you can also bring it back to your home as they sell the ravioli frozen as well. I saw this place during a private event so it didn't look so full at the time. But when we went on a normal day, the place was packed. And for good reason too as everything is so good. The only thing I had trouble with was there's no napkins readily available. If there were, I didn't see it

Update because I go much more often now that I can eat there! The pasta is not only excellent, but an amazing price point for the quality. I would absolutely die for their focaccia, and their staff is always so sweet. Their French onion soup, if you can get it, is loaded with deliciously caramelized onions and topped with lots of cheese. Their inside dining room can become crowded, but I love sitting outside when the weather is nice!

The quality of the pasta for the price point can't be beat and I am a huge pasta lover . I had the butternut squash ravioli with brown butter and sage sauce and it was mouth watering . With my pasta, came my choice of salad or soup and focaccia bread and olive oil was shared at the table. It is a small , quaint restaurant and I like all the little personal details put into the restaurant including old family photos with Lucia at a convent and as a young woman . It is definitely worth a visit and has an authentic, homey feel. All together with the price ( 2 people can eat for about 40 and we both got drinks ) , the savory, deliciousness of the pasta , and the warm, customer service (I had some requests about recommendations), this place is a 5!
